About ProductLayers
Find out which of your design system components are actually in the product, and where the drift is.
What we do
Adoption measurement across design and code. It analyses the codebase to find where design system components are imported and where local reimplementations exist, analyses design files to find detached and modified instances, and reconciles the two so a component's true state is visible: defined in design, implemented in code, and actually used in production, with the divergences named. It quantifies adoption by product area, identifies the components most often forked and why, and tracks whether accessibility and token compliance hold in real usage.
Who we built it for
Design system teams, front-end platform teams and design leaders at companies with 20 or more front-end engineers and a design system that is supposed to be adopted.
The problem
Companies invest heavily in design systems and cannot tell whether they are being used.
Engineers copy a component and modify it, designers detach instances, and within a year the product contains forty button variants while everyone believes there is one.
Nobody can quantify adoption, so the design system team cannot justify its existence or prioritise its work.
Try it before anything else
The free revenue-leak calculator runs in your browser with no account. Put in your traffic and conversion rate, and see what the drop-off costs straight away. Open it.
The one promise
The free tool on this site is genuinely free and genuinely useful. It does not withhold the answer behind an email form, it does not degrade after a trial, and it does not exist to harvest your data. If it helps you and you never pay us, that is a fine outcome.
How much is your drop-off costing you a year?
Put in your monthly visitors, conversion rate, order value and ad spend. See what you lose each year against the category median. Runs in your browser. No account, no card, no call.
